Colour Run event for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

Care Colours and Care Fundraising Supplies are extremely proud to have been involved in a very successful charity event this month. The Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice Colour Dash saw over 2,000 participants showered in vibrant colour run powder whilst completing the 5km colour run event.

Our own Sales Director Steve Reynolds took part as a colour station thrower and took over 150 photo’s to celebrate the event!

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice provides care and support to the families of a child with a shortened life expectancy. During this tough time, Bluebell offer help wherever the family needs it; whether it be a residential area for the whole family to support the child, looking after brothers and sisters during visits or end of life care and support.

For this fantastic cause, it costs over £3 million a year to provide a vital service to families in the region and the charity receives less than 5% statutory funding. We were extremely privileged to help towards raising funds for this incredible charity.

Colour Run Powder

The colour run event was an extremely fun, vibrant and colourful one thanks to the colour powder used. Every 1km, participants were showered with colourful throwing powder; pink, green, blue, red, a whole range of colours could be seen creating some fantastic photo opportunities.

Fundraising Supplies

Not only did we provide the colour run powder, we also provided a host of other fundraising supplies; everything from charity collection buckets and running numbers to t-shirts and sunglasses. In fact, the picture below sums up our influence on the colour run event.

The neon sunglasses, personalised t-shirts and charity collection buckets were all provided by Care Fundraising Supplies and Care Colours.

The colour run event was extremely successful; so much so that Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice has already confirmed it will take place in 2015. We wish them every success in the campaign and hopefully they can raise yet more money for this fantastic cause.
